The Projecto & Presa House Gallery are happy to present “Degradado” (Gradient), an exhibition featuring artists from Austin, Tx, and Monterrey, Mx in San Antonio, Tx.

“Long-lasting friendships and professional relationships inspired this show where colors turn to shapes and reason dissolves in emotions.

Each artists’ voice is clear and defined, they share very little with each other but together they meld into a gradient spectrum of awesomeness”.

The opening reception will be held First Friday, December 7 from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM featuring music by Chido Machine (Austin, TX).

Degradado will be on view by appointment December 7 through December 29, 2018.

Well, the holidays are almost here and we’re grateful for being able to share with you our work and now our absence Lol. We’re a bit tired but happy about all that we accomplished during this bizarre year…
I’m beyond excited ’cause I get to see Bjork Today at the Day For Night Festival!!! Wish me luck, I don’t want to pass out like a Justin Bieber fan, but the excitement I assume is similar, so who knows what will happen!!!!

If you still haven’t bought gifts, we have Art and Merch at the Online Store, if you live in Austin Tx or Monterrey Mx we might be able to drop it off just in time for Xmas, so if you like something but are not sure if it’ll get to you in time, write us to info@theprojecto.org with what you want and address.

We expect great things for next year, so stay tuned! I’ll try to give you my two cents on the festival and I’ll keep posting random stuff as usual.

Happy weekend, talk to you soon!!!

Musician, Teacher, Designer, Artist are a few words we can use to describe this talented, kind dude; I met him in Monterrey through music and it wasn’t till years after that I found out he was as talented at visual arts as he is on Music.

His resume it’s pretty impressive, he’s designed for worldwide brands plus he does a bunch of independent work and teaches unprivileged kids ❤️

You can hear his Austin band Kev Bev and the Woodland Creatures all the time around Austin and of course see/buy his Art at our Studio #111 next Saturday Nov 19th from 11am-6pm yayy

Oh also, you can hear us on KOOP this Monday 14th from 1-2PM Adrian, Clint, myself and our good friend Federico Archuleta (who’s having 2 kick ass shows next weekend) will be talking about EAST and their individual work 😉

Hope you have a lovely weekend! Let EAST begin and our hearts be filled with art and pretty things yayyy!

EAST 2016, Carlos Olvera

Carlos Olvera or “Vegan Cannibal” as the internet world knows him,  is an important, multidisciplinary and fun artist! I’ve known him for over a decade and each time I see him, I learn a lot and have a blast all together.

I met him while I was working at an Art Gallery, and he would often do custom paintings for our clients; it always amazed me how he could dominate every single style, no matter what the demands were, he would pull it off.

Now he only does his thing with a very specific style: Fun-Zombie-Goreish-Punkedelic I would call it 😛 & he continues to amaze me with every piece.

He has gone from drawings to paintings, to objects, music, fanzines and tattoos (among others I’m sure); It doesn’t matter if you give him a skateboard, a toilet, paper or canvas, he’ll do something great and creative. He and his art have traveled the world and now we’ll have them here in Austin!

Come join us for some good times, some drinks and a lot of Vegan Cannibal this November the 19th at Studio #111 ❤

EAST 2016 – Clint Roth

art, austin, austin tx, entrepeneur, museums, music, reviews, texas, travel, Uncategorized

You might know Clint Roth in one of his two facets: Musician as Big Jaw, or an Artist as himself ;P

I knew him through the music but ended up working a little bit more with his Art ❤

His style has been described as “Lowhighmiddlebrow Outsider Pop” (Don’t ask me, but totally haha), & one of the things I love about it is how versatile and just fun to see it is! It’s refreshing how simple, colorful and raw his pieces are. He’s used his art for Album covers, stickers, T-shirts and more, always translating perfectly into any medium.

  • If you have the EAST Catalog, it’s his piece the one that represents The Projecto 😀

He’ll be displaying his Art and chatting with us at Studio #111, hope you can make it!
