+ MUSIC + Niña Dioz has grown accustomed to breaking barriers. Having broken into Mexico’s predominantly male hip-hop scene as an openly queer rapper, she is now based between LA & Mexico City, and continues to create meaningful songs that reflect her identity, reality, vision, and voice. The first single off of her last album, “Tambalea,” feat Ceci Bastida and Lido Pimienta and received millions of streams. It was named Germany’s Radio Cosmo “Top Song of the Year.”
The album, Reyna, received much love from outlets, radio, and DSPs such as NPR, The Fader, Spotify, Los Angeles Magazine, KUTX, and KEXP among others, and she was even featured as Billboard’s “Latin Artist on the Rise.
